Welcome Deborah Greene

We welcome Deborah Greene to our Presbytery staff as the new Coordinator of Communications.  Deborah comes to us having served with the Board of Child Care, the Associated Catholic Charities, Maryland League of Foster and Adoptive Parents as well as stints with the Columbus Dispatch and the Baltimore Sun.  She has a degree in Mass Communications from the University of Maryland.

The search committee was impressed with her experience in media relations, marketing, program management, and constituent relations as well as her writing skills.  We were also taken by her enthusiasm for the work and her desire to work in partnership with others.

In the one week that Deborah has been with us, we have delighted in her eagerness to meet people in the Presbytery, to understand what makes Presbyterians tick, and to look at projects in the larger context.  We are pleased with her desire to interpret the work and ministry of the presbytery to its members.

Deborah drives in from Glen Burnie every day and looks forward to hearing from you.  If you have questions about communications within the presbytery or within your church, give her a call.

Welcome aboard – and we welcome you to this new work.

Blessings,

Peter Nord
