The Presbytery of Baltimore understands that it has a Responsibility to help its existing churches grow and to plant new church communities.  As a result, we provide a number of programs to help existing churches look at themselves, discover where God is calling them into ministry in their communities, and to equip them with the skills and desire to add to the vitality of their churches.  This work is done by the Church Transformation Committee.  Likewise, we realize that there are many places in this state where new churches need to be formed as new communities spring up.  And so we are working to bring into being new faith communities and new churches.
