LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

“…I will pour out my Spirit on every kind of people: Your sons will prophesy and also your daughters; your young men will see visions, your old men dream dreams. When the time comes, I’ll pour out my Spirit on those who serve me, men and women both..." Acts 2:17-18 .
The church is facing a new time and it is important to look at ministry in new ways if the gospel message is to resonate in the world as the presbytery takes its place in equipping people for their place in God’s kingdom. Our vision for the ministry encompasses people of all ages as we encourage them to commit themselves to discipleship in Christ in their faith communities and to learn of Christ’s ways. We want to provide opportunities for them to be connected to one another, to share their gifts in ministry, to celebrate the Spirit among them and to give thanksgiving for God’s grace that there are those who have been given skills and abilities to lead so that we may support and encourage one another in this life of discipleship. – (Mary Lou Ferris)
