Programs & Outreach
Peacemaking in a Violent World is an organization dedicated to fostering peace at all levels of human interaction. The objective of the organization is: to promote non violent means of conflict resolution, and make non violence a way of life. Like many other Christian organizations promoting peace and seeking justice, our work is both within our own denomination, traditions and heritages, and among others be they fellow believers from other traditions or kindred spirits from among non-believers. Peacemaking in a Violent World is a sub group of the Peace and Justice Committee of the Presbytery of Baltimore. Presbyterian Church (USA). One of the endeavors of Peacemaking in a Violent World is a study of violence in the media. One focus of this effort is violence in video games. This is an on-going effort. Material will be added from time to time as it is identified and formatted for publication here.
