Scholarships

The Presbytery offers a variety of scholarships to support both individuals and groups in their education, spiritual growth, mission outreach, and community development.

  • The Robert J. Turner Memorial Scholarship Fund is available to Presbyterian youth who would like to join a Presbytery-sponsored mission trip, typically to a foreign country during the summer. In recent years, scholarships have been awarded for trips to Guatemala, El Salvador and the Native American Oglala reservation in South Dakota. The amount of each scholarship is a function of the total amount available for all scholarships, the number of trips anticipated, and the size of each travelling group. In the past, each scholarship typically has been about $200.  Application. Deadline: May 1.
