Please reach out to mckenna@mpchurch.org ( mailto:mckenna@mpchurch.org ) with any questions.\nTopics and Dates\nHome Visits Refresher: February 27th from 6:30-8pm\nPastor Michele Wallen will review the basics of a home visit with members of your community – including how to share home communion, reminders about mandatory reporting, and how to be supportive in a crisis.\nDementia Friendly Information Session: March 27th from 6:30-8:30pm.\nGordon Creamer, Program Manager at Well for the Journey, will bring us a Dementia Friendly information session. This session is a prerequisite for the Memory Care and Spiritual Belonging retreat later in the year.\nPraying in Public: April 24th from 6:30-8pm\nDeacons are often called on to pray in public – whether with someone in the hospital or at home, or during the prayers of the people. Rev. Sara Wilcox, a pastor and coach in Asheville, will lead us as we develop our public praying muscles.\nTopics in Hospitality: May 22nd from 6:30-8pm\nDeacons are called to service and hospitality.
