God of wisdom and courage, we give You thanks for sustaining Your church thus far in these uncertain times. We pray for your Holy Spirit to descend on us as we gather over screens and phones, newsletters and blogs. Though our hands cannot touch each other in the passing of the peace of Christ, may our hearts touch, remembering to love one another across the waves. God we pray especially for our Presbytery congregations for whom large internet bandwidth is not a reality. May the Gospel be shared across pages of emails, calls and prayers. For those congregations whose finances are already impacted by our closures, inspire us to care for one another as You have commanded.
Bless those who preach the gospel, and those who hear. May Your presence be felt even more strongly as we look to You as our refuge and strength.
Though Christ Our Lord, who went before us in the wilderness, Amen.
