Bridge Pastor
Govans Presbyterian Church, a Matthew 25 congregation, is seeking a full-time bridge pastor to serve on site while the process to call a permanent pastor is underway. This role requires a flexible schedule of 40 hours per week, adjusted according to the needs of the congregation and staff. The bridge pastor will be responsible for preaching at least two Sunday worship services each month at 10:30 AM. For the remaining Sundays, the pastor may coordinate with the Worship and Music Committee to arrange for guest speakers to lead the service. Compensation is a minimum of $88,870 annualized salary plus benefits. Position Description

We are a 287-year-old church, with a congregation of about 100 parishioners and a preschool and child care center with about 100 students, located in the village of Churchville, MD. Though our community is rural, it is surrounded by suburbs and close to urban areas. We prefer to call a pastor who can appeal to the youth of Churchville and its surrounding communities, while supporting the older generations in the congregation. $77,518/year factored.
