B’More Human Presentations
November’s examination of the legacy of slavery focuses on the topic of health.
Speakers include:
Dr. Corey Henderson – the overarching discussant on race-based health disparities and the legacy of slavery.
Mudia Uzzi – will speak about his project titled “Mask On: Increasing Education and Access to Cloth Masks in the Greenmount West Neighborhood of Baltimore City.” Mudia has a MSc and is a PhD Student in the Department of Health, Behavior and Society with the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
Stacey Stephens – B’More Healthy Babies
Each speaker will discuss their programs for 15-20 minutes, followed by a brief Q&A time-permitting.
