2026 Youth Conference
Baltimore Presbytery took on Montreat Youth Conference this Summer, when 34 youth and 7 adults across six different churches attended the conference together in July 2026. They worshipped, played, hiked, prayed, danced, and even white-water-rafted together throughout their week at Montreat! Overall, the group was thrilled with the conference. It was well planned, well run, and full of great people. They can’t wait to go back!

Christian Educators Retreat
April 13 – 15, 2026: The Commission on Thriving Leaders and Churches (CTLC) joined in fellowship with activities to deepen their spiritual lives in nature, and evening worship. The focus was rest, relaxation, and rejuvenation for our hard-working Christian Educators, both paid staff and volunteers. The retreat was led by Seminarian and Director of Formation at First Pres Westminster, Heather Russell von Marko.
Faith Presbyterian Cooking Classes
A Community Engagement Grant helped to support cooking classes to youth at Nexus Woodbourne, a residential treatment facility near the church. Funding helped to hire a chef to create and teach a formal curriculum, with church members assisting. The chef grew up in foster care, was a resident at NW, and feels called to help other teens in the foster system. The grant also covered program costs related to food, ServSafe curriculum and tests, and materials for the teens in the class (binders for recipes and aprons).
