Join the Dismantling Racism Team from June 1 – 22, 2026

Many of us have heard that it takes 21 days to develop a habit. Starting June 1st, the Dismantling Racism Team invites your church, Ministry Group or you individually to participate in the 21-Day Anti-Racism Challenge.
Creating effective social justice habits, particularly those dealing with issues of power, privilege, supremacy, and leadership is like any lifestyle change. Setting our intentions and adjusting what we spend our time doing is essential. Sometimes the hardest part is getting started.
For 21 days, we challenge you to the following steps:
READ * LISTEN * WATCH * CONNECT * NOTICE * ENGAGE * ACT * REFLECT
https://www.americaandmoore.com/21-day-juneteenth
- Do at least one action each day to further your understanding of power, privilege, supremacy, oppression, and equity. Explore readings, podcasts, videos, observations, and ways to form and deepen community connections. Be sure to diversify your habits by doing some of each.
- Use the tracking chart to stay on course.
- Connect with others to process, share thoughts, ask questions, and get ideas on Mondays June 1, 8, and 22 from 6 – 7:15 p.m. ( Link to Connect Check-ins here.)
- On Monday, June 15th join us in person at Govans Presbyterian Church Juneteenth Concert. (visit Govans website for details).
- QUESTIONS? Contact Charese Jordan Moore, cjordanmoore@gmail.com.
The 21-Day Racial Equity Habit Building Challenge© (#BlackIdea) was created by Dr. Eddie Moore Jr. (#BlackMind), the executive director of The Privilege Institute (TPI). Further editions were co-developed with Debby Irving and Dr. Marguerite Penick (#DiverseSolutions) and co-curated with pertinent partners. The challenges have been adopted by organizations, associations, and corporations all over the world and are designed to help people better understand issues surrounding equity, inclusion, privilege, leadership, and supremacy over an intentional, habit-building 21 days. We are excited to offer you this challenge in partnership with Dr. Moore, America & MOORE, and The Privilege Institute.
