Section 3 - Programmatic Questions

Write a Project Summary. This should include a general description of the use of the funds as well as an anticipated schedule for the major milestones of the project.

Thriving grants support congregations seeking to transform themselves through the development of viable and vibrant ministries. What steps has your congregation taken to develop new, transformative programs or ministries? How will this grant help you get there?

What need or issue will your project address?

What is the desired impact and results of your project? How will you measure your project’s success?

When should your project be self-sustaining? How will you get there?

What do you know about your community, and how well does your community know you? To what extent is the community involved in the planning and implementation of your project?

What else would you like to share with the Commission? What other support can the Commission provide?

Upon approval of the Board of Pensions Grant, the recipient shall receive a check payable to the Board of Pensions for one year of dues. The recipient is responsible for submitting the check and relevant information to the Board of Pensions.
