Throughout this pandemic we’re experiencing, people have taken to signs more than ever to express their feelings, concerns and aspirations. As residents shifted from congratulating our young graduates in May to the urgency of the Black Lives Matter movement, we thought it would be worth a moment to recognize some of our favorites.
In response the international outcry following the murder of George Floyd and the celebration of Juneteenth, Faith Presbyterian members launched a “Signs of Faith” display last month. Members made signs expressing their own reactions to racism and posted them along Loch Raven Boulevard in front of the church. Many are still there today.
If you’ve made or found a display that you’d like to share, email images to Frank Perrelli, and they may featured in a future issue of Tidings.
